Friesian horses are a versatile light draft  breed originating in the Netherlands.  They are strong, healthy, and gentle - with their manes and tails often reaching the ground.  Their height reaches between 15 to 16 hands tall, and their compact weight ranges between 1,200 to 1,400 pounds.  Their coat is all black with leg featherings, and their heads are held majestically high.  Hand painted watercolor painting.  All paintings arrive with temporary matting and stock frames, to protect them during shipping.
