"The Prairie Bunkhouse" served multiple uses. Usually located a distance from the main family farmhouse, it housed seasonal workers and gave everyone some privacy. Meals were prepared and eaten at the main farmhouse, and the bunkhouse provided sleeping quarters. Family and friends were invited to stay in the bunkhouse during visits in the off seasons. A time when stories were exchanged, and family history was passed down from generation to generation while remembering and embelishing their heritage. All paintings arrive with temporary matting and stock frames to protect them during shipping.
