The "Bitterroot Barn" is older than dirt - but has withstood the elements bravely.  Hay storage, and protection for the herd during extreme heat and cold temperatures.  The mountains in the background provide some protection, depending upon which direction the weather blows into the valley.  The barn has become a reminder of the region's history.  Built by every available "hand" who could gather to "raise the barn".  Community showing up to help their neighbors create the ability to survive another season against the elements.  All paintings arrive with temporary matting and stock frames, to protect them during shipping.
