"Crooked Streets & Crooked Houses" - 8.5" x 10" Hand Painted + US Tax

The "Crooked Streets & Crooked Houses" watercolor reminds me of many small mining communities built upon winding and steep hillsides.  It was important to build homes close to the mines, to accommodate their workers.  Many of these communities have lost their vibrance, as the mines began to close.  However, the creative engineering it took to build these homes and travel routes is not lost on anyone.  All paintings arrive with temporary matting and stock frames, to protect them during shipping.
