My CDA - Fish Inn - 8.5" x 10" Hand Painted Watercolor + US Tax
Old childhood memories growing up in CDA, ID included the "Fish Inn" restaurant. Located east of CDA on the old Highway 10 in the shape of a large-mouthed bass, and offered fresh fish dinners from Lake Coeur d'Alene. You could also stop for ice cream, gas, boat rentals, and cabins. In the late 50's the construction of Interstate-90 bypassed the location, and nearly killed the business. Later owners revived the business as a local bar and roadhouse. The interior became famous for being lined and stapled with over 4,000 signed dollar bills left by travelers. In the early hours of February 17, 1996, a sudden fire completely destroyed the historic building. Gone but never forgotten! All paintings arrive with temporary matting and stock frames, to protect them during shipping.
