My CDA - Tubbs Hill - 8.5" x 11" Hand Painted Watercolor + US Tax

$99.00

Every kid growing up in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho has many stories to share about Tubbs Hill.  In 1884 Tony Tubbs, a German immigrant purchased 138 acres to build a residential neighborhood and hotel.  At one point grandstands were built to watch sailing and hydroplane races.  The City of CDA gradually acquired the land to preserve it as public property.  We hiked with friends around the 2.2 mile perimeter trail - which was also a way to travel between the City Beach and Sander's Beach.  Upon arriving at Sander's Beach, if the doors were unlocked - the Fullwiler freezer in their garage was most certainly "raided" for an icecream bar.  Mary and Dick were good to us!  All paintings arrive with temporary matting and stock frames, to protect them during shipping.
