From Tim Murphy - "Dad bought the boat in 1949 on my sister's birthday, and sold it in 1973.  Dad made his own icecream and french fries.  I got to go help him make the ice cream on weekends, which has to be one of the best jobs a kid ever had.  He had car hops that would bring your order out and hang it from your car window.  He also had a plow on the front of his truck for winter time, to plow the parking lot.  We would go out to The Boat and Dad would stick a case of Olympia Beer behind my back, so I couild reach the gas and brake pedals.  He would let me plow, while he was inside making the hamburger patties.  I really miss that man.  He let me do things that today's parents couldn't even imagine.  Everyone loved "The Boat" Tim, and we love you for sharing your wonderful childhood memories.  All paintings arrive with temporary matting and stock frames, to protect them during shipping.
